But they really loved to shoehorn the detective boys into these earlier episodes when they weren't there in the manga. Like episode 1,3 and now 5.

And i wished they didn't change those guys to not actually be Gin and Vodka tho. I like to think they saw Gin and Vodka on the street and were like thats cool and stole their style.

Ran continuously stopping Conan in this episode was almost annoying. Like i cant blame her tho what else is she supposed to do. Just a bit much.

Imagine being that woman like some child runs in and kicks your briefcase out of the window and then it blows up, i think I'd lose it.

I wonder what those two police officers think now. Like i hope they learned their lesson and maybe even apologized.

I think in the manga it's supposed to actually be Gin and Vodka, not lookalikes. Additionally, I don't even think the kids were on this case but I guess they added them in for relatability (my assumption because the audience would be for kids on TV back then?)

yeah, i remember they changed up the episodes in which the kids were even meant to be in the story, and i think also the order of cases as well? not sure why they would though. maybe they didn't think the anime would go on for long in the beginning.

they were, but the anime didn't think it would go for long enough to do that plot, so they didn't want to start it.

I think it's actually better this way, since gin has since been shown to be waaaay too smart to let that gum tracker go unnoticed.
(later on Conan magically knows their names, when he was supposed to learn them here. The dub tried fixing this by having heiji somehow knowing their names and telling Conan)
